Mate1 is closing it's doors in Europe as of May 25th, 2018.
We've been very grateful to come along with you on your journey to find that special someone over the last 15 years and we hope to see you again soon!

I sent them an email and their reply was, "we cannot edit all our members". Got a few likes 2 times, likes from girls in other states who where putting their phone #'s in their descriptions.
The last one I believe really was in WY but she wanted an I tune card so she could talk to me. A good writer can make a person "feel like" they've died and gone to heaven, but that isn't reality if the prose don't come from a "real person." I just can't believe that they do here, as all I've ever experienced is a slew of bogus "like collectors" playing some kind of "hiding behind an e-site," "penpal games." I will never go back on this site again. Hey, I can walk down the street where I live and get my own dates. Signed up for the special 13.95 per month for 3 months, they charged me 39.95 right off the bat.
We will retain purchase data for a period of six (6) months before removing this data to ensure all refunds, rebills and transactions are handled appropriately.
We have opted out all European users from our current e-mail & push notification programs.
I even wrote to ladies way outside my local area and again the same. I mean I thought there b at least 10 % of real women seeking. You will undoubtedly get screwed thinking you have stopped the automatic billing or deduction from your card account.
If you try to get a refund because you realize it is a scammer haven you will have to snail mail a request to cancel within 3 days.option to cancel by internet....waste your money " data-username="Michael L." data-message-link="" data-message-title="Send a message to Michael L." data-details="Photo uploaded on 2/20/19" data-photo-url="/reviews/mate1.com#photo_98549" data-browse-link="/photos/mate1.com" data-browse-text="Browse all mate1photos" Not as bad as most people try to make u believe.
80 percent or more of the profiles are "borrowed" pictures and contain the cell number of someone asking to text.......
I went on the site with an open mind and a purse heart, wanting to be able to date and hopefully have a relationship develop because of it.
I tried looking at fifteen profiles but the caption on each was, "They have chosen to delete their profile". Had one picture of a black girl and description said she was white/caucasian.
If you call them your always on hold for over 30 minutes before they finally pick up and the person that does answer must be the custodian can never get a straight answer......all were warned stay away they do not deliver. And u get messages from other states with phony numbers. I joined with a cheap trial membership just to see if this was real. I checked out 39 female profiles and 37 of the 39 profiles I did a deep dive on came back with FAKE photos that were pulled from other sources. This is so fake I think it's got to be criminal fraud on the part of the company. The sites gets you to sign up by sending emails stating you have messages.
